36 Photos That Show Meghan Markle's Dramatic Style Evolution

Meghan Markle's style evolution is one for the books. While she's always been stylish and chic, she's now evolved into one of our generation's most influential dressers. From her "Suits" wardrobe to her entry into the Royal family, Meghan Markle's outfits inspire plenty of admirers and imitators across the globe.

Back in 2006, Markle appeared on "Deal or No Deal" wearing mini dresses with a body-con silhouette. What followed was seven seasons of "Suits," when the actress attended Hollywood and fashion parties alike, embracing the season's hottest trends from bandage dresses to gladiator heeled sandals. When she began dating Prince Harry, her fashion sense changed most dramatically, as she mellowed her red carpet look a bit in favor of a more conservative aesthetic fit for a royal. With a wedding gown designed by Clare Waight Keller for Givenchy, Markle cemented her place in the pages of the fashion history books. For the many official events that followed, Markle adhered to royal dressing protocol at times, but she also challenged it, embracing nail polish, off-shoulder necklines, and more. She also paid close attention to her color palette: staying away from bright colors in favor of neutral tones that wouldn't draw attention away from the more senior royals. As the end neared for her time as a working royal, Markle's style changed yet again: her last formal royal appearances include vibrant hues like monochrome red and green.

Once Markle officially resumed life as a private citizen, her style changed once more. To raise her two children in California, she curated a more casual but classic wardrobe of jeans and button-down shirts. For red-carpet events, the mother of two embraces a bolder aesthetic, experimenting with pink short suits and gold cutout dresses.

Ahead, check out Meghan Markle's style evolution - from body-con dresses to cape gowns and everything in between.

The Boob-Window Trend Is All Over the Red Carpet From Sydney Sweeney to Chlöe

The boob window is the new trend in celebrity dressing making waves this year, both on and off the red carpet. As early as January, in fact, Lori Harvey stepped out to celebrate her 26th birthday in the LBD version of the look, flaunting an asymmetrical midi from The Attico with a chest cutout that circled her cleavage, and was further amplified by an attention-grabbing neck-tie sash. The outfits that follow often resemble halter silhouettes, although not all of these numbers boast a strap on each side. Sydney Sweeney is the latest style icon to give it a go, opting for a brown silk gown that she wore alongside model Izabel Goulart while vacationing in Ibiza. For a night out, the 25-year-old " Euphoria " star rocked her one-shoulder design with gold jewelry, dewy makeup, and her bright blonde hair in loose waves. The bodice of her dress was secured near her collar bone, where fabric from one side was pulled through a loop at the other, wrapping around to the back. The r...

Candice Huffine: "Size Does Not Equal Health, and Weight Does Not Equal Worth"

Image Source: Luvlette Born in Washington DC and raised in a Maryland suburb, Candice Huffine did a little bit of everything when she was growing up, from being captain of the cheerleading squad to taking her turn as a pageant queen. "It was 'typical' in a Hallmark movie kind of way, I guess," Huffine tells POPSUGAR. "These details are important to mention because they did influence my life path. I willingly put myself on a stage at every turn - and not always kind ones - to do the things I loved or to follow a dream I had." Huffine, 39, signed her first modeling contract in 2000. She was "determined" to be a model, despite the fashion industry being notoriously discriminatory toward plus-size people. Knowing the odds were stacked against her propelled Huffine even further toward realizing her dream. "When I received a contract as a plus-size model, it unlocked a new mission in me: to not pursue modeling just for myself, but to push har...

Diaper Shorts Are Back - How to Shop the Controversial TikTok Trend

Of all the street style trends to dominate our FYP and social media feeds in recent years, bloomer shorts seems to be the most bizarre (and ironically one of our top favorites) yet. And who do we have to thank for it? TikTok, of course. In a single scroll on the popular app, you've probably come across the piece multiple times, from those viral Miu Miu briefs to Aritzia's more affordable offerings. Slightly more flirty and risqué than the stomach pudge dress or the fisherman aesthetic , bloomer shorts (aka "diaper shorts") have officially made it to the top of the sartorial food chain. What Are Bloomer Shorts? While the idea of bloomer shorts may seem new or daunting at first, they're far from groundbreaking. Similarly to most trends, the good ol' "everything is new again" concept applies here, as the fad dates back to 1850 when the silhouette was invented as a practical solution for women's health and comfort - eventually grabbing the atten...
