Doja Cat's Thong-Baring Dress Is as Sheer as It Gets

Doja Cat isn't afraid to bare it all. At the Time100 Gala in New York City on April 26, the singer arrived in a lavender Valentino gown with delicate ruffled tiers and a completely sheer top panel. To highlight the see-through nature of the dress, Doja went completely braless, wearing only skin-tone pasties and a black thong underneath. Styled by Brett Alan Nelson, she accessorized with a Messika diamond necklace and matching chandelier earrings and slipped on tall red opera gloves and black platform heels for added contrast. Later on during the event, she changed into an outfit made entirely of repurposed Sketchers sneakers before performing on stage.

This is one of Doja's first major appearances since she got liposuction and a breast reduction in March. She shared a few details about her surgery and ongoing recovery on Twitter at the time, saying she expected to be fully healed in about three months. Luckily, she told fans she's "healing really fast," and we're happy to see the rapper is already back to delivering high-fashion looks on the red carpet.

Doja's Valentino gown is the latest in a long list of daring outfits. At Paris Haute Couture Fashion Week in January, she made headlines for feeding herself grapes in a blue leather jacket and 6-inch platform heels. She also proved her love for all things see-through at the 2022 Billboard Music Awards, where she wore gold pasties under a sheer-paneled corset gown.
