Maddie Ziegler's Plunging Look Is Almost Completely Unbuttoned

One of the highlights of New York Fashion Week was no doubt the Proenza Schouler show in downtown Manhattan. And, while the show was opened by fashion veteran Chloƫ Sevigny, it was Maggie Ziegler who was turning heads outside. Arriving at the show in a matching cream-toned knit look from the designer, Ziegler looked more elegant than ever.

Photographer and videographer, Michael Stewart, captured her epic entrance on video, posting the paparazzi-mobbed scene on Instagram. Maddie's elongated cardigan boasts a collar and buttons that reach from neck to her low hips, though she only fastened one at the bustline. Below was a matching midi skirt that also buttons all the way up the front, boasting an unbuttoned slit that reaches up to miniskirt height. She styled the look with heeled ankle booties and a black cross-body bag, hair pulled back in a tight bun that's reminiscent of her "Dance Mom" days.

The Proenza Schouler Fall 2023 collection itself was full of both suiting looks as well as knit tops, carwash skirts, plush hoodies, and metallic evening dresses. In the show notes, designers Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez explained: "The show is a day in the life of this woman told 40 different ways. It is a portrait of an attitude, a feeling, a sensibility, a way of dressing, and ultimately of a woman herself." As such, out walked black leather midi skirts, topped with white button-down shirts and blazers for day; double-breasted overcoats for colder days out and about; and totally sheer tops for nights out on the town.

While Ziegler has stayed largely out of the public eye lately, when she does step out, she's sure to deliver a high-fashion moment. Back in October, she stunned in all black, attending a Valentino dinner in an off-the-shoulder mini dress and sky-high platform pumps. A few months prior, Ziegler appeared on the red carpet of the premiere of "Bullet Train," on the arm of boyfriend Eddie Benjamin, wearing a black bustier dress with side cutouts.

Candice Huffine: "Size Does Not Equal Health, and Weight Does Not Equal Worth"

Image Source: Luvlette Born in Washington DC and raised in a Maryland suburb, Candice Huffine did a little bit of everything when she was growing up, from being captain of the cheerleading squad to taking her turn as a pageant queen. "It was 'typical' in a Hallmark movie kind of way, I guess," Huffine tells POPSUGAR. "These details are important to mention because they did influence my life path. I willingly put myself on a stage at every turn - and not always kind ones - to do the things I loved or to follow a dream I had." Huffine, 39, signed her first modeling contract in 2000. She was "determined" to be a model, despite the fashion industry being notoriously discriminatory toward plus-size people. Knowing the odds were stacked against her propelled Huffine even further toward realizing her dream. "When I received a contract as a plus-size model, it unlocked a new mission in me: to not pursue modeling just for myself, but to push har...
