10 Jenna Ortega Outfits That Would Make Wednesday Addams Proud

Now that she's been thrust into the spotlight for her breakout role as Wednesday Addams in Netflix's "Wednesday" series, Jenna Ortega's fashion takeover is in full swing. The 20-year-old star has a lengthy acting resume already, known for playing Vada Cavell in "The Fallout" alongside Maddie Ziegler; Elle in "You" season two; and Tara Carpenter in "Scream." The former Disney actress of "Stuck in the Middle" fame has been a client of stylist Enrique Melendez since 2016, and the duo have consistently worked together to pay homage to her latest projects with every outfit they dream up.

Lately, they've been catering to her Wednesday phase with the likes of a black crinkled silk and lace Versace wedding dress and a sheer Saint Laurent number over high-waisted undergarments that reflected a '60s silhouette, the same decade the world was introduced to her character.

Ortega also has close ties with the Valentino house, having sat front row at the brand's spring/summer 2023 show and attended the afterparty in an electric yellow minidress. She also worked with Pierpaolo Piccioli on her first-ever Met Gala moment, sporting the label's iconic platforms that continue to live on in her wardrobe.

In discussing his close collaboration with Ortega, Melendez told POPSUGAR that comfort is key. "It's important to nurture a style evolution of all my clients, especially the younger ones. With my ladies, I always want them to feel empowered. I strive to dress them tastefully, and I always want them to know that I 100 percent have their back," he said.

Ahead, see how Melendez has helped develop Ortega's style transformation, which includes sheer elements, towering platforms, and leggy minidresses that are undeniably retro.

Candice Huffine: "Size Does Not Equal Health, and Weight Does Not Equal Worth"

Image Source: Luvlette Born in Washington DC and raised in a Maryland suburb, Candice Huffine did a little bit of everything when she was growing up, from being captain of the cheerleading squad to taking her turn as a pageant queen. "It was 'typical' in a Hallmark movie kind of way, I guess," Huffine tells POPSUGAR. "These details are important to mention because they did influence my life path. I willingly put myself on a stage at every turn - and not always kind ones - to do the things I loved or to follow a dream I had." Huffine, 39, signed her first modeling contract in 2000. She was "determined" to be a model, despite the fashion industry being notoriously discriminatory toward plus-size people. Knowing the odds were stacked against her propelled Huffine even further toward realizing her dream. "When I received a contract as a plus-size model, it unlocked a new mission in me: to not pursue modeling just for myself, but to push har...
