Vanessa Hudgens's Dramatic Gown Has a Chest Cutout and a Thigh-High Slit

Vanessa Hudgens has a red carpet repertoire like no other. Whether she's twirling on the Met Gala red carpet in a sheer Moschino gown or posing in a breezy Vera Wang dress at the MTV Movie and TV Awards, she always knows how to deliver a glamorous fashion moment. So, it's not surprising that she took the opportunity to turn her Halloween costume into an elegant outfit fit for a gala.

The 33-year-old actress made an appearance at the annual Thriller Halloween party, hosted by Prince Michael Jackson, dressed to the nines. She wore a high-neck gown covered completely in black and silver feathers. The breathtaking design features a chest cutout that stretches to her navel, and a slit that reaches to her thigh. She finished the show-stopping look with dangling black chandelier earrings and knee-high boots.

Hudgens's makeup was just as arresting. Her heavy black eyeshadow with feather-detail on her brows complemented the gown perfectly, as did her vampy black lipstick and manicure. With long strips of feathers dangling from her sleeves, Hudgens made for one unforgettable Black Swan, even as she ditched the usual bodysuit costume for a gown instead.

When she's not serving up drama on the red carpet, Hudgens is experimenting with the most popular seasonal trends. She recently sat front row at the Michael Kors show wearing a plunging gray catsuit. She made an appearance at Thomas Ashbourne's margarita dinner in a high-slit gown with trendy slime-green, knee-high boots. She posed for a Barbiecore-themed shoot wearing a bra-and-briefs set in a soft pink hue. And we can't forget her championing the thongkini trend all summer, in every style from neon to leopard print.

Ahead, see more photos of her feather dress and shop similar gowns in time for your next festive event.

The Boob-Window Trend Is All Over the Red Carpet From Sydney Sweeney to Chlöe

The boob window is the new trend in celebrity dressing making waves this year, both on and off the red carpet. As early as January, in fact, Lori Harvey stepped out to celebrate her 26th birthday in the LBD version of the look, flaunting an asymmetrical midi from The Attico with a chest cutout that circled her cleavage, and was further amplified by an attention-grabbing neck-tie sash. The outfits that follow often resemble halter silhouettes, although not all of these numbers boast a strap on each side. Sydney Sweeney is the latest style icon to give it a go, opting for a brown silk gown that she wore alongside model Izabel Goulart while vacationing in Ibiza. For a night out, the 25-year-old " Euphoria " star rocked her one-shoulder design with gold jewelry, dewy makeup, and her bright blonde hair in loose waves. The bodice of her dress was secured near her collar bone, where fabric from one side was pulled through a loop at the other, wrapping around to the back. The r...

Candice Huffine: "Size Does Not Equal Health, and Weight Does Not Equal Worth"

Image Source: Luvlette Born in Washington DC and raised in a Maryland suburb, Candice Huffine did a little bit of everything when she was growing up, from being captain of the cheerleading squad to taking her turn as a pageant queen. "It was 'typical' in a Hallmark movie kind of way, I guess," Huffine tells POPSUGAR. "These details are important to mention because they did influence my life path. I willingly put myself on a stage at every turn - and not always kind ones - to do the things I loved or to follow a dream I had." Huffine, 39, signed her first modeling contract in 2000. She was "determined" to be a model, despite the fashion industry being notoriously discriminatory toward plus-size people. Knowing the odds were stacked against her propelled Huffine even further toward realizing her dream. "When I received a contract as a plus-size model, it unlocked a new mission in me: to not pursue modeling just for myself, but to push har...
