Keke Palmer Wows in Low-Rise Skirts and Cutout Minis For the "Nope" Press Tour

Keke Palmer's "Nope" press tour is turning out to be a parade of fashionable looks that command attention at every turn. Most recently, the actress flew to Rome, Italy, for the movie premiere at The Space Cinema Moderno and made a sophisticated entrance in Prada. She donned a bright-yellow strapless gown made of lustrous silk and finished with a floor-grazing train for maximum visual impact. Keeping the focus strictly on the dress, Palmer forwent a necklace and bracelet, choosing instead to decorate her arms with dramatic black opera gloves. Soft-glam makeup and a pink lip rounded out her formal attire.

Her vivid color palette is consistent with earlier press ensembles, most notably at "The Today Show" in New York City. Palmer turned the Big Apple into her catwalk on July 21 when she modeled pieces pulled from Christopher John Rogers's prefall 2022 collection. She styled a classic neon-green trench coat with matching tailored trousers, embracing one of summer's biggest color trends. Her matching slingback pumps further enhanced the colorful theme, while a white cropped tank layered underneath the coat and a matching top-handle bag offered a contrast.

Other press outings have seen Palmer clad in a bright-orange blazer worn over a Barbiecore-style shirtdress; a forest-green sequin minidress by Prabal Gurung; a sheer metallic Prada dress; and perhaps the boldest look of them all: a black low-rise skirt and white cropped corset fresh off the Marc Jacobs fall 2022 runway. The movie star has served up style inspiration since the beginning of her press tour. As we await new appearances, appreciate her looks ahead.

The Boob-Window Trend Is All Over the Red Carpet From Sydney Sweeney to Chlöe

The boob window is the new trend in celebrity dressing making waves this year, both on and off the red carpet. As early as January, in fact, Lori Harvey stepped out to celebrate her 26th birthday in the LBD version of the look, flaunting an asymmetrical midi from The Attico with a chest cutout that circled her cleavage, and was further amplified by an attention-grabbing neck-tie sash. The outfits that follow often resemble halter silhouettes, although not all of these numbers boast a strap on each side. Sydney Sweeney is the latest style icon to give it a go, opting for a brown silk gown that she wore alongside model Izabel Goulart while vacationing in Ibiza. For a night out, the 25-year-old " Euphoria " star rocked her one-shoulder design with gold jewelry, dewy makeup, and her bright blonde hair in loose waves. The bodice of her dress was secured near her collar bone, where fabric from one side was pulled through a loop at the other, wrapping around to the back. The r...

Candice Huffine: "Size Does Not Equal Health, and Weight Does Not Equal Worth"

Image Source: Luvlette Born in Washington DC and raised in a Maryland suburb, Candice Huffine did a little bit of everything when she was growing up, from being captain of the cheerleading squad to taking her turn as a pageant queen. "It was 'typical' in a Hallmark movie kind of way, I guess," Huffine tells POPSUGAR. "These details are important to mention because they did influence my life path. I willingly put myself on a stage at every turn - and not always kind ones - to do the things I loved or to follow a dream I had." Huffine, 39, signed her first modeling contract in 2000. She was "determined" to be a model, despite the fashion industry being notoriously discriminatory toward plus-size people. Knowing the odds were stacked against her propelled Huffine even further toward realizing her dream. "When I received a contract as a plus-size model, it unlocked a new mission in me: to not pursue modeling just for myself, but to push har...

Diaper Shorts Are Back - How to Shop the Controversial TikTok Trend

Of all the street style trends to dominate our FYP and social media feeds in recent years, bloomer shorts seems to be the most bizarre (and ironically one of our top favorites) yet. And who do we have to thank for it? TikTok, of course. In a single scroll on the popular app, you've probably come across the piece multiple times, from those viral Miu Miu briefs to Aritzia's more affordable offerings. Slightly more flirty and risqué than the stomach pudge dress or the fisherman aesthetic , bloomer shorts (aka "diaper shorts") have officially made it to the top of the sartorial food chain. What Are Bloomer Shorts? While the idea of bloomer shorts may seem new or daunting at first, they're far from groundbreaking. Similarly to most trends, the good ol' "everything is new again" concept applies here, as the fad dates back to 1850 when the silhouette was invented as a practical solution for women's health and comfort - eventually grabbing the atten...
