Sydney Sweeney Chose This Chic Dress For Her First Late-Night Appearance

For Sydney Sweeney's first-ever late-night talkshow appearance, she did what she does best: exuded elegance in a classy designer dress. On Wednesday, the "Euphoria" actress stopped by "The Late Late Show With James Corden" to talk all things East Highland High School, her love for vintage cars, and so much more. While Sweeney was chatting about restoring a 1969 Ford Bronco and how costar Alexa Demie accidentally broke her toe, our eyes were admittedly glued to her black-and-white bra-top dress from Christian Siriano's pre-fall 2022 collection.

The Siriano dress features a caged top with a black bra and two cutout straps on each side. Styled by her go-to, Molly Dickson, Sweeney paired the flattering midi dress with David Yurman jewelry and black pointed-toe pumps. When portraying Cassie Howard in "Euphoria," Sweeney wears colorful, sexy, Y2K ensembles, which are definitely in no way related to the play "Oklahoma," but in real life, her affinity for chic black-and-white designer gowns is clear. At the 2021 People's Choice Awards in December, Sweeney wore a black Saint Laurent cocktail dress with an oversize bow that draped from her shoulders to her neckline.

During the interview with Corden, Sweeney spoke about her character and the show's plot for anyone who has yet to be captivated by the popular series. "I play Cassie; she is definitely looking for affirmation and love from other people other than herself," she says. "The show tackles a bunch of teenagers that struggle with drugs, sexuality, a lot of problems." Indeed it does! As we patiently await the next "Euphoria" episode, you can find us gushing over Sweeney's Siriano dress and the funky manicure she perfectly paired with it ahead.
